Purchase-based promotionsPut the date before the idea
Seasonal dates have a habit of feeling distant until they are not. Technical setup takes days, but campaign planning generally needs at least five to cover objectives, mechanics, prizes, terms, creative and testing. Where filing is required in Italy, the terms must be prepared and submitted at least 15 days before launch. An Advent calendar starting on 1 December should be planned in early November, not on the 28th.

FAQs
Start with the objectives: comments for followers and engagement, photos and videos for UGC, purchase-based promotions for sales, and Advent calendars for recurring participation. In UGC and purchase-based formats, GIVEAWAI® automates validation of content and proof of purchase.
Planning covers creative, prizes, setup and compliance. Technical setup takes days, but campaign planning generally needs at least five. Where filing is required in Italy, the terms must be submitted at least 15 days before launch. For an Advent calendar starting on 1 December, mid-November is already a compliance deadline, so planning should begin earlier.
Duration does not determine the obligations. If the initiative falls under Italy’s DPR 430/2001, terms must be drafted before launch alongside other required formalities. Some formats are exempt from Ministry requirements.
Contests and giveaways describe prize campaigns. Planning focuses on the entry method and allocation criteria: a draw among valid comments, Instant Win or a panel judging content, for example.
These can be strong opportunities because audience attention already exists. Use of the event’s trademarks, logos and official names must be checked case by case: they belong to its organisers. Build the campaign around the occasion, with proper consideration for those rights.
It depends on the mechanics. Technical setup takes days, but campaign planning generally needs at least five: objectives, mechanics, prizes, terms, creative assets and testing. If Italian rules require the terms to be filed, they must be prepared and submitted at least 15 days before launch. For a tight deadline, we assess feasibility and timing together.
